Mark as Useful Thick accent from Indian guy. Seems as if he was reading a script. Using lots of scare tactics. Told me to have my attorney or myself call as soon as possible. I received the call and this was left on my voice mail this morning. A co worker of mine received the call after lunch on her cell phone. This is no legit at all.

Mark as Useful A YOUNG LADY CALLED STATING THAT I HAD BEEN PRE-APPROVED FOR A VISA OR MASTERCARD WITH A LIMIT OF $500.00/ NO CREDIT CHECK REQUIRED WITH A VALID AND GOOD STANDING CHECKING ACCOUNT! LADY STATED THAT A FOLLOW UP CALL WOULD COME FROM HER MANAGER/ THAT I WAS TO GIVE HIM THE CODE# SHE PROVIDED! FOLLOW UP CALL CAME THROUGH 5 MINS LATER, GENTLEMAN ASKED FOR ACCT INFO! ADVISED THAT MOST CREDIT COMPANIES LIKE TO SPEAK TO YOUR BANK DIRECTLY TO VERIFY INFO BASED ON NO CREDIT CHECK! CALLER HUNG UP!
